2012 European Championship silver medalist Balotelli set to move to Salernitana – media

Adana Demirspor, striker Mario Balotelli can go to “Salerno” in the winter transfer window, reports TuttoSaletnitana.

According to the source, Salernitana general manager Walter Sabatini managed to convince club owner Danilo Iervolino of the usefulness of this acquisition. The footballer himself agreed to sign a contract until June without serious salary demands.

Balotelli, 33, has made five Turkish Championship appearances this season and scored three goals.

Previously, Balotelli played for Italian Inter, Milan, Brescia, Monza, French Nice and Marseille, English Liverpool and Swiss Sion. Since September 2023, the Italian has defended the colors of Turkish Adana Demirspor. As a member of the Italian national team, Balotelli won the silver medal at the 2012 European Championship.

Salernitana occupies the last, 20th place in the Serie A standings with 12 points.
