The sporting arbitration was not satisfied with the appeal of the Premier League representatives of the aggressor country.

Russia fans will not see their players in competitions next season. The Court of Arbitration for Sport dismissed the appeals of CSKA, Dynamo, Zenit, Sochi and the RFU to return them to the international arena. This was reported by the official website of the CAS.

It may be recalled that on February 28, FIFA and UEFA jointly decided to disqualify all Russian teams and football clubs from this country from international competitions under their auspices due to a full-scale military invasion of Ukraine.

Later, on May 2, the suspension of Russian clubs and teams was extended for the 2022/2023 season. Teams from the aggressor country will not be able to participate in European competition, in the Nations League, in the U21 European Championship, Women’s Euro 2022, as well as in the qualification of the Women’s World Cup 2023.
