Successful start of training camp for the team of Vernidub and Rotan
Krivbass And Alexandria won their premier matches in 2024. Team Yuri Verniduba was stronger than Polish Piast (2:0), and the players Ruslana Rotanya achieved a strong-willed victory over the Bulgarian Levski (2:1).
Among the UPL leaders, African legionnaires distinguished themselves – Ivorian Jean Pau and Ghanaian Prince Adu. Krivbass scored a double at the start of the second half and brought the game to victory without any problems.
Alexandria had a more difficult time against the Bulgarian giants. Rotan’s team was the first to concede, but managed to win back before the end of the first half through the efforts of Andrei Kulakov. The victory for the team was brought by Denis Kostyshin, who returned to the team after a year-long absence in El Paso.
Krivbass went to the winter break as the leader of the UPL. Yuri Vernidub’s team scored 34 points and is ahead of Dnepr-1 in additional indicators. Alexandria is in 11th place with 16 points.
Krivbass will play the next official match with LNZ, and the Rotan team will play with Shakhtar. The base date for the resumption of the Ukrainian championship is February 24.
