Baltic Defender Ivan Ostojic expressed the opinion that the general director of Kaliningraders, Ravil Izmailov, is a competent specialist with extensive football experience.
The Kaliningrad club announced changes in its management in early December. Izmailov replaced Kirill Volzhenkin as general director of Baltika.
— We talked a little. It is clear that he is a competent specialist with extensive football experience. There has not been close communication yet, now is the time when the management is looking for new players in all clubs, people are working, but we will still have time to communicate,” Ostojic was quoted as saying by Metaratings.ru.
In 2020, Izmailov was appointed general director of Nizhny Novgorod PARI NN, where he worked until July 2023.
After 18 rounds of the Russian Championship “Baltic” is in penultimate 15th place in the RPL rankings, gaining 13 points.
