Ngannou’s coach: Fury must make Usyk tired, box him dirty and rough

In the Cameroonian camp they hope for the victory of the “Gypsy King” in order to quickly arrange a rematch with him

Dewey Coopertrainer of former UFC champion Francis Ngannouexpressed hope for the victory of the WBC title holder Tyson Fury over the world champion according to WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO heavyweight titles Alexander Usik.

“I’ll tell you what: we hope Tyson Fury wins. We need this in order to get a rematch for all the titles.”

“Usyk is very talented, he is fast, he is experienced and has an Olympic gold medal on his resume. This guy doesn’t get tired.”

“But we’re talking about Tyson Fury, who has to impose his will, pin his opponent down, throw punches at him, make him tired, box him dirty and just be rude. Anthony Joshua’s mistake against Usyk was that he tried to box too much in a friendly manner.”

“Tyson needs to be persistent and use his size advantage. “It’s also dangerous because Usyk can hit, he can box, he’s slippery and he’s left-handed, so it’s going to be a tough fight.”

“But I do think that at the end of the day, Tyson will be able to box him dirty, clinch him, put up a real fight enough to be able to win this fight.”

Last week, Saudi organizers of the largest boxing matches announced their desire to hold an event in which the winners of the fights Alexander Usyk – Fury and Joshua – Ngannou will meet.

Both events will take place in Riyadh. The Usyk-Fury fight will officially take place on February 17. The title of absolute heavyweight champion will be at stake. The fight between Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou is planned to take place in the capital of Saudi Arabia on March 8.

Usik fought his last fight on August 27 in Wroclaw, Poland. The Ukrainian knocked out Daniel Dubois in the 9th round and defended his championship titles.

Fury defeated Ngannou via split decision. It was reported that the Briton received two cuts in a fight with the former UFC champion.
