It was reported that the Brazilian’s clause would be 1 billion euros
Madrid Real announced the extension of the defender’s contract Edera Militao until June 30, 2028.
Blancos agreed with the Brazilian on a new agreement several months ago. It was reported that the contract would contain a clause in the amount of 1 billion euros.
This season, Militao managed to play only 50 minutes in the 1st round match of Primera Liga against Athletic (2:0). The Brazilian suffered a cruciate ligament injury in his left knee and later underwent surgery. The Brazilian is expected to return to action in March.
Real takes second place in La Liga. Madrid are one point behind Girona, having played a match less. In the next match, the team of Ukrainian Andrey Lunin will play away against Las Palmas on January 27.
