Athletistic/Football. Former Zenit midfielder Igor Semshov has expressed his thoughts regarding a possible transfer of Lokomotiv defender Nair Tiknizyan to the St. Petersburg club. According to journalist Ivan Karpov, Zenit offered Lokomotiv an amount of 8 million euros as well as 2 million bonuses for the transfer of the 24-year-old footballer.

Semshov stressed that Zenit aims to fight for the championship and for Tiknizyan this represents a new challenge. The footballer now plays a key role in the Lokomotiv team, and taking into account Krugovoy’s possible departure from Zenit, the vacant position may be filled. Additionally, Tiknizyan has positional flexibility, which makes his transfer a good prospect for Zenit. Tiknizyan is not a player ready to stay on the bench, and Zenit’s interest in him is not accidental.
