Cameroon team snatches victory from Gambia team and reaches Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers

The Cameroon national football team defeated the Gambia team in the third round of the group stage of the Africa Cup of Nations, which is taking place in Ivory Coast.

The Group C match ended with a score of 3:2. Ebrima Kollie and Abli Jallow scored goals for the Gambia team. Karl Toko-Ekambi and Christopher Wu scored among the winners, while Gambian midfielder James Gomez sent the ball into his own goal.

In another match of the group, the Senegal team beat the Guineans with a score of 2:0.

The Senegal team scored nine points, the Cameroon team (4) became second, ahead of the Guinea team (4) in additional indicators. All three teams reached the playoffs, the Gambia team (0) completed its participation in the tournament.
