According to Fox Sports, the Russian club offered 9.2 million euros for Fidalgo’s transfer, but finalizing the deal will not be easy as Mexican banks comply with financial sanctions imposed by Western countries on the Russian banking sector.
Aotvaro Fidalgo graduated from Real Madrid. The Spaniard moved to Mexico in July 2021. The transfer amount then amounted to 1 million euros. In the current season of the Mexican championship, the midfielder played 14 matches, scored one goal and provided one assist. His contract with the Mexico club runs until June 30, 2026.
Zenit has scored 36 points in 18 matches and is in second place in the RPL standings.
