Members of the Committee on Physical Culture and Sports of the State Duma of the Russian Federation will meet with representatives of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation in a week to resolve the issues with getting personalized fan card for Russian Premier League (RPL) matches, committee member told Roman Tereshkov .
In mid-June, the RPL press service reported that from the start of the new season, a fan card would be required to attend matches at the stadiums of Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-the- Don, Samara and Sochi. The remaining RPL stadiums will join the project in the second part of the season.
– We understand that we have cornerstones, so I was the initiator of the request to the Ministry of Digital Development. What is the reason: not all MFC centers issue passports, only a certain number of centers. We agreed that, without exception, all multifunctional centers on the territory of the Russian Federation should provide this service, whether or not there is a team in the LPR.
Moreover, the group application service has not been introduced in order to simplify the task of football clubs, supporter institutions, media, etc. Within a week, we will meet with representatives of the Ministry of Digital Transformation to hear a reasoned response when this is implemented. We are currently not satisfied with this approach. The issue of obtaining a document for foreigners is also on the agenda,” Teryushkov told .
The new RPL season starts on July 15.
