Bayern beat Union with a minimal score in the postponed match

Munich continue their pursuit of Bayer

Bavaria won a modest victory at home over Union in the rescheduled match of the 13th round of the German Bundesliga – 1:0.

The Berliners held out for the first 45 minutes, but Thomas Tuchel’s team took the lead in the first minute of the second half. Harry Kane hit the post, and Raphael Guerreiro was merciless in finishing.

The champion as a whole had an undivided advantage and controlled the game. But the hosts failed to score again, and Union, in one of the rare forays, still got a chance to score, but Jerome Rousillon did not take advantage of it.

The match ended in a nervous atmosphere; conflicts regularly arose on and around the field. In the end, there was a red card – visiting coach Nenad Bjelica was awarded it for assaulting Leroy Sane.

Winter newcomer, defender Eric Dier, played the entire second half for the Munich team, replacing the injured Dayot Upamecano.

The victory allowed Bayern to move within four points of leading Bayer Leverkusen. Union remained 15th, just three points above the relegation zone

In the next round, the champion will go to Augsburg, and the capital team will host Darmstadt.
