The head coach of the Ukrainian national team received a new, additional position in football leadership.
After Andriy Shevchenko was elected as the new president of the Ukrainian Football Association, many issues were resolved at the Football House in Kyiv.
At the UAF Congress, new first vice-presidents and vice-presidents were elected. It was also decided to reduce the total number of vice presidents from 14 to 3.
Pavel Boychuk, a longtime lawyer and lawyer Andrei Shevchenko, became the first vice-president. He has been close to the new UAF president since the 2000s. 93 delegates voted for him, 1 did not vote.
The new vice-presidents are the head coach of the Ukrainian national team, Sergei Rebrov, and the chairman of the Lviv Region Football Federation, Alexander Shevchenko. The delegates voted in the same way: 93 – for, 1 – did not vote.
Members of the new UAF executive committee were also elected. Evgeny Dikiy, Sergey Vladyko, Alexander Zinchenko and Ekaterina Monzul kept their places. They included Alexander Kadenko, Nikolay Pavlov, Andrey Poltavets and Artem Stoyanov.
It should be noted that Viktor Mezheiko, Igor Gataulin and Vitaly Kvartsyany received the status of honorary members of the UAF for outstanding services to Ukrainian football.
Andrey Shevchenko also approved the new chairmen of the KGC and the appeals committee, who became Vitaliy Nauma and Valentin Zasukha, respectively.
