Sports Minister of the Russian Federation Matytsin checked the fan’s personal card

Minister of Sports of Russia Oleg Matytsin on Saturday, July 9, I checked the fan’s personal electronic card at the My Documents (MFC) Public Services Center.

— The Russian experience of introducing a fan card is unique, we have successfully tested its use in many competitions. The experience is recognized by the international community, especially football. The system will allow us to provide additional comfort and security to supporters.

The whole verification procedure at the MFC took no more than a minute. It’s important that the process is open so people don’t get scared – it’s a fairly simple service, it’s provided in all cities that host RPL matches. I hope the first recipients of the card will confirm this. I urge all fans – come to the stadiums, enjoy the football, enjoy the game, – said Matytsin, quoted by the press service of the department.

Registration for a digital fan card began on July 4. A card request can be issued in your personal space with the State Services. After submitting the application, you must confirm your identity to the MFC.

The card is required to attend Russian Premier League (RPL) matches and is mandatory for spectators, athletes and staff, guests, accredited media representatives. Initially, the card will be required to attend RPL home matches at stadiums in five cities: Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Samara and Sochi. By the end of the year, the rest of the cities where clubs participating in the RPL are located will be connected to use the system.

The new RPL season starts on July 15.
