The contract with the Brazilian was signed for four years
Polesie officially introduced another newcomer – the Brazilian midfielder Talles Costawho previously advocated Sao Paulo. The 21-year-old player signed a contract for four years.
Talles Macedo Toledo Costa (main position – central midfielder) managed to play a total of 52 times for the first team of Sao Paulo, scored one goal, gave two assists. He missed a significant part of the 2023 season due to a knee injury.
Talles Costa (please do not confuse him with the 25-year-old Rukh player Talles Brener de Paula) has been at a training camp in Spain with the Zhytomyr club since January and actively plays in sparring sessions – in particular, against Real Murcia (2:1).
Earlier this winter, Polesie added defender Bogdan Mikhailichenko, winger Yassin Fortune and forward Wendell Gabriel.
Polissya ranks third in the UPL, two points behind leaders Krivbass and Dnepr-1. The next official match, Kalitvintsev’s team will play away against Rukh in the 18th round. The base date is February 24.
