“Anyone who criticizes Lionel Messi understands nothing about football,” Benzema said, as quoted by BeksFCB.
On February 4, Lionel Messi was criticized by Hong Kong fans. The 36-year-old Argentinian refused all requests to be photographed with him and was uncommunicative. This was in stark contrast to the behavior of other Inter Miami players who were giving people their autographed jerseys. American club co-owner David Beckham also spoke warmly with fans.
Lionel Messi has been an Inter Miami player since July 2023. With the Herons, he won the MLS+MX League Cup.
