Stas receives this award for the second time this season
Bigman Dnepr Stanislav Timofeenko recognized best player of the Super League-FAVBET V January.
During the voting, Tymofeenko beat out Stepan Lesyk from Prykarpattya-Hoverla, Elijah Joyner from Rivne, as well as Vadim Zaplotinsky (Kyiv-Basket), Maxim Nikitin (Zaporozhye) and Yaroslav Karpyuk (Polytechnic-Galicia).
The experienced big man became the MVP of two game bubbles of the FAVBET Super League 2023/24, which took place in Lviv and Lutsk in January. Timofeenko’s productive play (15.3 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists on average per match) brought Dnepr six wins last month.
For the player himself, the award for the best basketball player of the month is already the second this season. Timofeenko previously received similar recognition in October.
Dnepr confidently leads the standings with 20 wins in 20 games.
