The league’s 25-year partnership with telephone company TIM is coming to an end.
Italian Serie A for the first time in a quarter of a century will change title sponsor. From the season 2024/25 the top league will change its name from Serie A TIM on Serie A Enilive.
Italian top-flight football has partnered with telecoms company TIM for 25 years but will now have a new title partner – at least for the next three seasons.
Enilive is an energy company, and the league entered into a three-year agreement with it. According to the terms of the contract, Serie A will receive 22 million euros annually for this cooperation. TIM lost in the competition – the current partner offered three million less per year.
At the same time, the Frecciarossa railway company has extended its sponsorship agreement with the Italian Cup, also for a three-year period. The deal amount is 5.5 million euros per season.
