The forward is recovering from a serious injury he suffered in the summer
Fitness trainer Shakhtar Jarno De Vlieshauer spoke about the recovery of the striker Lassines Traore.
“Lassina has already had two serious injuries in the last season and a half, so we have to be careful. But now he’s doing great, he’s trained perfectly, he’s doing what we ask of him.”
“We work three to four hours every day with great intensity. I hope we’ll get him to the required condition in four to five weeks. We are trying to achieve this now, but you never know in advance.”
“He’s doing a great job, I’m amazed by his level and professionalism, mentally and physically. We are taking big steps to get Lassina back into shape before the end of the season. We will try to do something important for the club.”
Let us remember that at the beginning of the season, Traore received a serious injury – he was diagnosed with a torn quadriceps tendon. On August 22, the forward underwent a successful operation in Finland. Earlier it was reported that the player will miss up to four months, and a full recovery is possible by the spring part of the season.
Marino Pusic’s team will play in the 1/16 of the Europa League in February, where its opponent will be Marseille. In the Ukrainian Championship, the Miners are in fourth place, three points behind the leaders, but with two matches in hand.
