Athletistic/Football. Former Spartak coach Massimo Carrera expressed his opinion on the conflict between Red and White captain Georgiy Dzhikia and the team’s head coach Guillermo Abascal. Recall that earlier the media reported disagreements between Jikia and Abascal, which is why the defender lost his place in the starting lineup.

“It is a shame that such a situation happened between Abaskal and Jikia. I hope Georgy can still become a key player for Spartak,” Carrera said in an interview with a Championship journalist.

This season, Dzhikia entered the field nine times in various tournaments without scoring any results. In total, the 30-year-old defender spent 706 minutes on the pitch. His contract with the club runs until May 31, 2024.
