Whitley’s throw at the end of the match brought victory to the Odessa team

This success allowed the Odessa team to come close to the eighth place occupied by Old Lutsk. Cherkassy Mavpy, instead of catching up with Kyiv-Basket in the table, suffered a third defeat in a row and dropped from fifth place to sixth.
