David Terans was officially presented to the Fluminense in a press conference, this Tuesday, 6, at CT Carlos Castilho. Several topics were discussed with the press, including what motivated him to venture to Rio de Janeiro for Tricolor das Laranjeiras. The Uruguayan admitted that the style of Fernando Diniz made a difference in decision making.
“I had friends who had worked with him on teams where I had played and spoke very highly of him. I followed Fluminense on Libertadores. I feel like I can adapt very well to his style of play. And it makes all players do their best and reach a high level. Everyone likes to play football the way he plays.”highlighted Terans.
The midfielder also detailed his style on the field: “I’m a player who really likes to get into the box. I’m not a midfielder, like Goose It is Renato. I’m more advanced, I like to get into the box and score. I really like shooting from all over the field. I have good set pieces.
