The defender is happy that the first match will be held in his native Poland
Dinamo defender Tomas Kenjera spoke about the preparation for the matches of the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League with Fenerbahce.
“I think we are already approaching the peak of form. For the match with Fenerbahce, we must prepare one hundred percent and show it on the football field, ”said the defender.
“I am happy to be in Poland because it is my native country. I am glad that we received many Ukrainians at home. We are aware of the current situation in Ukraine, and our country is helping in any way it can.”
“People who came from Ukraine were very well received in Poland, and I am really proud of my people and my country for what they are doing,” Kenjera said.
Earlier, Dynamo announced a bid for matches against Fenerbahce. The full list includes 28 players.
The Dynamo-Fenerbahce match will take place on Wednesday, July 20, in Lodz. The match starts at 21:00 Kyiv time. The return match will take place in Istanbul on July 27.
