Head coach of Shabab Al Ahli of the United Arab Emirates Marko Nikolic said he was convinced that one day he would manage one of the RPL clubs again.
Shabab Al Ahli is participating in the RPL’s Winline Winter Cup, which takes place in Abu Dhabi.
— I am sure that I will always work at the RPL, I feel it. Firstly, I have such a desire. Secondly, I still have many contacts and thanks to them I know that my work at Lokomotiv left a good impression.
But I can’t say there’s anything left unsaid yet. We won a trophy, played in the Champions League with Bayern, Atlético, Salzburg. We won silver, we could have won it for the second time in a row, but Spartak scored a goal at the very end of the 30th round,” Nikolic told the Championship.
Nikolic worked at Lokomotiv from May 2020 to October 2021. The Serbian won the Russian Cup with the Moscow club.
