Dzhikia has been playing for Spartak since 2017, but his contract ends on June 30 this year. This season, he lost his place in the starting lineup for the “reds and whites”.
According to a report from 61saat published on Wednesday, Jikia could join Turkish club Trabzonspor.
“If Dzhikiya does not play for Spartak, then, of course, he has to leave. I think any team will take him. He would suit any team in the top five of the RPL, and even more so the top 10. But, in my opinion, “the most suitable option for him would be Lokomotiv. I heard he might move to Türkiye. This is also a good prospect for him. There is a high-quality championship there,” Tarkhanov noted in an interview with Match TV journalists.
After 18 rounds, Spartak is in fifth place in the RPL standings.
