The elite division of the English Championship pays almost twice as much as Serie A

The Turkish Super League continues to maintain a high salary level. On average, a player in the elite division of the Turkish championship earns 12.8 thousand euros per week, which is much more than in the Portuguese Primeira Liga (about 5.2 thousand euros per week) and the already mentioned Eredivisie.
