The UAF President discussed the development of a system for training coaches and the organization of summer camps for Ukrainian children
The president Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) Andrey Shevchenko visited UEFA Congresswhich takes place in Paris.
“Today I am in Paris at the UEFA Congress. During meetings with colleagues from Germany and Italy, we discussed the development of a coach training system based on the best European practices and the organization of summer football camps for Ukrainian children,” the head of the UAF wrote.
Let us remind you that the former legendary football player, ex-mentor of the Ukrainian national team and ambassador of the UNITED24 platform was elected as the new president of the UAF on January 25. The team of the new head of the Association also included Pavel Boychuk, Sergey Rebrov and Alexander Shevchenko as vice-presidents.
Earlier, Shevchenko met with the acting Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine Matvey Bedny and the head of the National Olympic Committee Vadim Gutzeit. Special attention was paid to the organization of training camps and matches of the Ukrainian national teams in 2024, in particular, preparations for participation in the Olympics in Paris.
