Polesie tied with Iceland Stjarnan in the final sparring at the training camp in Spain – 1:1.
The teams spent the first half without scoring goals. The Icelanders managed to open the scoring in the 60th minute, Polesie managed to equalize it some time later. Artem Kozak distinguished himself as part of the Ukrainian team.
At the training camp in Spain, Yuri Kalitvintsev’s team played four test matches. Earlier, the Zhytomyr team beat Real Murcia (2:1), tied with Stal Mielec (1:1) and lost to Kalmar (0:1).
Polissya ranks third in the UPL, two points behind leaders Krivbass and Dnepr-1. Kalitvintsev’s team will play the next official match in the 18th round away from home against Rukh on February 25.
