The International Football Federation has released an updated list of the best national teams on the planet.
The Ukrainian men’s football team did not retain its place in the FIFA rankings. In the updated list of national teams, the blue-yellow dropped two places and is now in the 24th position.
Let’s remember that Sergei Rebrov’s team still has 1553.35 points in their assets, and the reason for the fall is the holding of two major continental tournaments at the same time.
It should be noted that the Asian Cup and African Cup were recently completed, the winners were the teams of Qatar and Côte d’Ivoire. The Ukrainian national team was ahead of the two teams that participated in the Asian Cup – Australia and South Korea.
Among UEFA representatives, our national team is still in 12th place.
Ukraine’s opponent in the semi-finals of the Euro 2024 qualifying playoffs, Bosnia and Herzegovina, is in 71st, having also lost two positions. The potential opponents for the qualifying finals, Iceland and Israel, are 73rd (-2 places) and 75th (0).
