The Warriors legend had a tough time against last year’s record holder
Within NBA All-Star Weekend a challenge took place between the defender Golden State Warriors Steph Curry And Sabrina Ionescubasketball player for the New York Liberty women’s NBA team.
Let’s remember that last year Sabrina set a unique achievement – she broke the NBA and WNBA record in the three-point shooting competition, scoring 37 points out of 40 possible. After this, it was decided to arrange a duel between her and Curry.
This time Sabrina was not so accurate, she managed to score 26 points. Still, it was a high bar for the Golden State legend, who managed to overcome it with some difficulty. The final result is 29:26 in favor of Curry.
“The Challenge went almost perfectly, given the format, the venue and the attention that was attracted to it. Sabrina showed an incredible result,” the basketball player concluded.
The NBA All-Star Game will take place on the night of February 18-19. It will be hosted by Gainbridge Fieldhouse, home of the Indiana Pacers. The team captains will be LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
