Athletistic/Football. Evgeny Lovchev shared his opinion on what is happening at his home club Spartak Moscow.

Lovchev played for Spartak from 1969 to 1978 and today is vice-president of the Spartak corporation.

— What will happen to Spartak after such a scandalous winter break?

– Nothing will happen! Spartak is in fifth place. It’s a bad place for a club. At all times, Spartak was either a champion, or even the medals didn’t count, truth be told. Nothing like this will happen to them. They will exist in exactly the same way. In the end, 18 coaches were replaced under Fedun. Well, let’s assume it won’t be until the 19th.

— Why is the leadership changing at Spartak, but unpleasant and toxic situations remain?

– And all because of such leaders. Into whose hands did Spartak fall? For example, in the hands of Fedun and especially Zarema. When Zarema becomes the main football pundit, I have fun. That’s why all the scandals arise in the club.

After the autumn part of the season, Spartak ranks 5th in the Russian Premier League standings, gaining 30 points in 18 matches.
