Maccabi Haifa drew on the road with Ghent in the second leg of the 1/16 finals Conference Leagues – 1:1.
Already in the 4th minute, Franzdi Pierrot put the Israeli team ahead. Ghent came back midway through the second half thanks to an own goal by Abdoulaye Seck, but the home team failed to take the match into extra time.
In the first match of the confrontation, Maccabi achieved a minimal victory thanks to a goal from Pierrot – 1:0. Thus, based on the sum of two meetings, the club from Israel reached the 1/8 finals of the Conference League.
