Vorskla defeated Swedish AIK in the first match of the second round of Conference League qualification. Recall that due to the war unleashed by the Kremlin regime in Ukraine, Poltava residents are unable to play at home.
By agreement with the Scandinavian club, both matches at this stage of the tournament will be played in Sweden. The first took place in Stockholm. However, despite actually playing on the road, and having a big problem with the squad, the Skrypnyk wards managed to show a bright football attack and deserved to win.
At the same time, obvious defensive mistakes and the lack of training in the match did not allow the Ukrainian club to get a more confident victory. Vorskla won by 3: 2. The return game between the teams will take place on July 28th.
