The Gunners scored five goals in the first half. Martin Odegaard opened the scoring in the fifth minute of the match. Home defender Jayden Bogle then cut the ball into his own net before Gabriel Martinelli scored the Gunners’ third two minutes later.
Kai Havertz and Declan Rice also scored before the break. In the second half, Ben White completed the rout.
Arsenal are in third place in the Premier League. Arteta’s team scored 61 points and continues to move close to the championship leaders. Sheffield United remain in last place.
Arsenal’s next match will host Brentford on March 9. Sheffield United will play away at Bournemouth on the same day.
