Neshcheret, Vivcharenko, Yarmolyuk and Bragaru were called up to the Ukrainian U-21 national team for the Euro 2025 qualifying match with Azerbaijan

Unai Melgosa’s list includes 24 players

Mentor Ukrainian national team U-21 Unai Melgosa announced the list of players called up for the March training camp.

In total, the coach invited 24 football players. Among them are Dynamo players Ruslan Nesheret and Nazar Voloshin, as well as English Brentford midfielder Yegor Yarmolyuk.


Goalkeepers: Pavel Isenko (Vorskla), Ruslan Neshcheret (Dynamo), Yakov Kinareikin (Dnepr-1).

Defenders: Ilya Krupsky (Vorskla), Konstantin Vivcharenko (Dynam), Arseniy Batagov (Zarya), Artem Smolyakov (Polesie), Vitaly Roman, Bogdan Slyubik (both Rukh), Vladimir Salyuk (Chernomorets).

Midfielders: Egor Yarmolyuk (Brentford, England), Evgeny Pavlyuk (Vorskla), Nazar Voloshin, Anton Tsarenko (both Dynamo), Valentin Rubchinsky, Oleg Ocheretko (both Dnepr-1), Alexander Yatsyk (Zarya), Maxim Khlan (Lechia, Poland ), Boris Krushinsky (Polesie), Ilya Kvasnitsa (Rukh), Ivan Varfolomeev (Slovan, Czech Republic), Maxim Bragaru (Chernomorets).

Forwards: Igor Gorbach (Zarya), Igor Krasnopir (Obolon).


On March 26 in Baku, Unai Melgosa’s team will play a qualifying match for the 2025 European Championship with Azerbaijan. Before this, on March 22, Ukraine will play a control match with the Moroccan team.

The blue-and-yellows hold the lead in Group F of the Euro 2025 qualification, three points ahead of England. Let us note that Unai Melgosa’s team achieved five victories in five rounds.
