Athletistic / Football. Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zenit, Alexander Medvedev, said that blue-white-blue midfielder Claudinho intends to vote in the Russian presidential elections.
“As a Russian citizen, Claudinho will vote in the presidential elections. He knows his rights and responsibilities,” Medvedev was quoted as saying by Sport-Express.
Claudinho joined Zenit from Red Bull Bragantino in August 2021. The 27-year-old Brazilian received a Russian passport in February 2023. This season, in 18 RPL matches, he has scored three goals and four assists. The midfielder’s contract with the St. Petersburg club runs until June 30, 2027.
The presidential elections in the Russian Federation will take place over three days, from March 15 to 17. The ballot included the names of four candidates.
