Bellingham suspended for two matches for insulting referee Gil Manzano in game against Valencia

Jude will miss meetings with Celta and Osasuna

Midfielder Reala Jude Bellingham received a two-game suspension in La Liga. The Englishman will miss the upcoming meetings with Celta and Osasuna.

Jude was sent off during the controversial match of the 27th round of La Liga with Valencia (2:2). In stoppage time, Jude scored a goal after receiving a cross from the corner of the penalty area from Diaz. However, referee Jesus Gil Manzano blew the final whistle just before Bellingham’s kick.

The referee indicated that he ended the match before the end of the game episode. Bellingham himself was removed after the end of the match, as he communicated with Gil Manzano in an obscene and aggressive manner, expressing dissatisfaction with his decision.

Jude has scored 20 goals and provided eight assists for Blancos in 30 appearances across all competitions this season.

Real are leading La Liga, ahead of Girona and Barcelona. The meeting with Celta will take place on March 10, with Osasuna on March 16. Today, Carlo Ancelotti’s team will play the second match of the 1/8 finals of the Champions League against Leipzig.
