Athletistic/Football. On March 6, the first match of the 1/8 finals of the Europa League took place between Portuguese Sporting and Italian Atalanta. The match took place at the José Alvalade Stadium in Lisbon, Portugal. Refereeing the match was handled by a team led by Daniel Siebert of Germany. The match ended with a score of 1:1.

In the 17th minute, the Portuguese club opened the scoring thanks to a goal from Paulinho. In response, the Italian club equalized the score in the 39th minute thanks to a goal from Gianluca Scamacca. It should be noted that the assist on Scamacca’s goal was made by midfielder of the Russian national team Alexey Miranchuk, who entered the field in the first team of the guests. In the second half, Miranchuk was replaced in the 72nd minute and Ten Compeiners entered the field.
