Japanese Avispa Fukuoka officially announced the striker’s loan Shahaba Zahediwhose contract belongs to Lugansk Dawn.
The 28-year-old Iranian will play for the new club until June 30, 2024.
Let us remind you that Shahab has played in Ukraine since 2019 for Olympic and Zorya – in total 75 matches, 26 goals and 8 assists.
In March 2022, the forward took advantage of the FIFA rule for foreign players of Ukrainian clubs and went on loan to the Hungarian Puskás Academy. He subsequently played for Iranian Persepolis – 22 matches, seven goals and two assists this season.
According to Transfermarkt, the Iranian’s agreement with the Luhansk club expires on December 31, 2025.
Avispa Fukuoka, we remind you, played a charity match with Shakhtar Donetsk (2:2) at the end of last year. The purpose of the event was to spread support for Ukraine in the world through football. Profits from ticket sales were supposed to be used to restore Ukraine.
In the new season of the Japanese J1 League, Avispa scored four points in two rounds and is in sixth place.
