Athletistic / Football. Roma head coach Daniele De Rossi commented on his team’s victory in the first match of the Europa League 1/8 finals against Brighton & Hove Albion. The match ended with a score of 4:0 in favor of the Italian team.

“We win games where Roma should win. After arriving at the club, I didn’t do anything special, everything fell into place straight away, which I am very happy about. Roma players are very talented, I have said it since the first day I arrived as coach.

I don’t want to underestimate how happy I am with the team’s performance today. In the game against Brighton I saw a lot of things that I liked, but in the second half we could have controlled the ball better,” De Rossi was quoted as saying by Sky Sport Italia.

Daniele De Rossi took over as manager of Roma in January 2024. The 40-year-old specialist’s contract with Wolves expires at the end of this season. In 10 matches in charge of the Romans, De Rossi won seven, drew twice and suffered one defeat.
