Athletistic/Football. Former midfielder of the Russian national team Andrei Kanchelskis expressed the opinion that the appointment of Stanislav Cherchesov as head coach of Spartak would not bring anything good.

On Sunday, Spartak was defeated by Fakel at home with a score of 0:2, and after 20 rounds of the Russian Premier League it is in sixth place in the standings.

“At Spartak, the coach can never feel safe. In a sense, I even feel sorry for Guillermo Abascaglio. But he is not without sin: either he will be disqualified or he will leave the match. Strange things are happening in the red-white club. The assumption that Cherchesov will come to replace Abaskal? It’s ridiculous. Nothing good will come of it,” Kanchelskis said, as quoted by RB Sport.
