Athletistic/Football. The Spartak football club said it was ready to pay compensation to the Portuguese team Braga for the premature departure of its coach Arthur Jorge. The red and whites are trying to recruit this specialist without waiting for the end of the current season, reports the Portuguese newspaper A Bola.

According to reports, Jorge’s move to Russia could be facilitated by Spartak’s Portuguese director Tomas Amaral.

Recall that a previous journalist Ivan Karpov claimed that Spartak had decided to fire Guillermo Abascal and planned to hold negotiations with Stanislav Cherchesov in the near future. It has also been reported that Braga coach Arthur Jorge is being considered as a potential candidate for the job.

Currently, Spartak is in sixth place in the Russian Premier League standings for the 2023/2024 season.
