Athletistic/Football. Former Spartak Moscow footballer Eduard Mor expressed his thoughts on the future head coach of the red and whites Guillermo Abascal. After the defeat against Fakel (0:2), rumors appeared in the media about a possible dismissal of the Spanish specialist.

“I was one of those who supported Abascal and believed in giving him time to work. I thought he could raise the team to a good level. But I am more and more disappointed. The match against Fakel was terrible. Spartak lost in all aspects – struggle and desire. Why can’t Spartak players get into the mood of the game? Imagine if Pari NN or Zenit players didn’t come out not in the mood for the game? I had the impression that this is the atmosphere that Abascal created (…) It is necessary to change something, of course, in relation to Abascal”, said Mor said on Match TV.

Currently, Spartak is in sixth place in the Russian Football Championship standings, having scored 31 points in 20 matches. After two rounds after the winter break, the red and whites managed to score only one point, drawing against Zenit (0:0) and losing to Fakel (0:2).
