“Agents offered various options, including from Europe. Around 2014, Villarreal showed interest. I don’t know if they were really interested in me, but it all ended in conversations,” Zuev said, as quoted by Championship.
Ilya Zuev became a Volgar player in the summer of 2023. Before that, he played for Akron Tolyatti. This season, Zuev played two matches and scored one goal. The 30-year-old’s contract with the Premier League club runs until the end of the 2023/2024 season. The Transfermarkt portal estimates the defender’s market value at €300,000.
“Volgar” scored 20 points in 22 rounds and occupies the last, 18th place in the First League standings.
