Athletistic / Football. Italian Serie B club (the country’s second strongest division) Ascoli has announced the appointment of Massimo Carrera as the team’s head coach.
The 59-year-old Italian will be presented as the new coach of the Whites and Blacks during a special press conference, which will be held on Wednesday March 13. For the moment, the duration of the contract between Carrera and Ascoli has not been announced.
“Ascoli” after 29 matches scored 28 points and occupies 18th place in the Serie B standings.
Massimo Carrera was the head coach of Spartak from 2016 to 2018. In the 2016/2017 season, he led the red and whites to their first RPL championship in 15 years. After leaving Russia, Massimo worked for Greek AEK and Italian Bari. Since April 2021, he has been without a team.
