The team completes the third and final stage of winter preparation for the second part of the PFL championship
Along with a rich program, The composition of the team also underwent changes. In the off-season, the “railroad workers” said goodbye to Bogdan Khobta, Anton Bogdan, Artem Umanets and Danil Ovcharenko.
“Changes have happened and that’s normal. Competition is essential for the growth of football players. We, in turn, approach personnel changes very carefully so as not to disrupt the well-functioning microclimate in the team. We had a great atmosphere in the first round: we were united by one goal and were the only mechanism, starting from the president, coaching staff and players. Of course, it is important that new players take this into account and understand,” said Lokomotiv head coach Vadim Lazorenko.
Over three training camps, Loko played 8 test matches, through which he passed the main selection of new potential team players. Starting next week, the people of Kiev will begin to actively train in preparation for the first game of the updated tournament, the first opponent will be Druzhba Mirovka.
The head coach answers succinctly about the goal set for the team: “The goal is probably exclusively strategic – to win every game, to fight for constant development and progress, providing experience and opportunity to young, promising players. As for the place in the table, we will work hard to be in the top seven.”
We already know about a dozen new, young and interesting players whom the club will introduce next week. The first match of the spring part, the “railroad workers” will play away on March 24.
