UEFA announced candidates for the prize Goal of the week V Champions League 2023/24.
The list of nominees includes Arsenal forward Leandro Trossardwho distinguished himself against Porto, and Jadon Sancho, who scored against PSV. Also on the list of contenders is Barcelona’s brilliant combination, which ended in a goal Roberta Lewandowskiand the ball Federico DiMarco against Atlético.
Note that Sancho is also in contention for the title of Player of the Week. The list of nominees included 17-year-old defender Pau Kubarsi, as well as goalkeepers Jan Oblak and David Raya.
Atlético Madrid and Borussia Dortmund became the final quarter-finalists of the Champions League. The draw for the next round of pairs will take place on March 15.
