The club received a ban from the OVA for this game due to the increased level of danger in the area
Chernomorets officially announced that the next home match of the Odessa club against Veresa in the 21st round Ukrainian Premier Leaguescheduled for March 17, will take place without spectators.
Previously, Odessa residents received permission to hold UPL matches with fans, but yesterday the Odessa Military Administration, despite the previously approved request of the Sailors, notified the club of a ban on holding the next game with spectators. The reason is obvious – an increased level of danger in the area.
“The club is canceling all previously announced measures in order to preserve the lives and health of fans, which is a big priority for Chernomorets,” the club statement said.
Chernomorets is in 10th place in the UPL with 23 points. The match between Roman Grigorchuk’s team and Veres, who is penultimate in the standings, will take place next Sunday. Starts at 15:30.
