To the forward Roma Romelu Lukakuwhose contract belongs to Chelseathe club from Saudi Arabia.
The unnamed Saudi giants are reportedly keen to sign the Belgian striker for next season.
Let’s remember that in the summer of 2023, Lukaku rejected Al-Hilal’s offer to transfer. The club from Saudi Arabia was ready to pay the forward 45 million euros per year.
The Belgian was later loaned from Chelsea to Roma for the 2023/24 season. The rental cost, according to some sources, amounted to 5.8 million euros.
In October, information appeared that the London and Rome clubs had agreed to buy out Lukaku’s contract for about £37 million. The 30-year-old’s current deal with Chelsea runs until the end of June 2026.
Lukaku has played 36 matches for Roma this season, scoring 18 goals and providing four assists.
During the season, Roma managed to change their coach – club legend Daniele De Rossi replaced Jose Mourinho. The Romans are in fifth place in Serie A, three points behind Bologna.
Today Roma will play away against Brighton in the second leg of the 1/8 finals of the Europa League. In the first match, the Wolves defeated the Seagulls with a score of 4:0.
