Soccer club “Torpedo” expressed condolences to the family and friends of the famous artist, fan of the team Alexander Shirvindt.
Shirvindt’s death was announced on Friday March 15. He was 89 years old.
“It is with deep regret that we inform you that today, at the age of 90, a devoted fan of our club, People’s Artist of Russia, President of the Moscow Academic Theater of Satire , Alexander Shirvindt, has died.
His enthusiasm and love for Torpedo will forever remain in our hearts.
“We express our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Alexander Anatolyevich,” the club said in a statement.
