Kirill Kovalets scored the winning goal in the match
Alexandria minimally beat Vorskla in the home match of the 21st round Ukrainian Premier League – 1:0.
The only goal in the match was scored in the 68th minute. Alexandria captain Kirill Kovalets completed the cross with a free kick and brought three points to Ruslan Rotan’s team.
Note that Vorskla finished the match with a minority. In the 90th minute, defender Daniil Khripchuk received a red card.
Alexandria won the second match in a row. The townspeople are in 11th place in the UPL with 23 points, increasing their lead from the play-off zone.
Vorskla suffered its eighth defeat in the current UPL. Sergei Dolgansky’s team is in 7th position in the Ukrainian Championship with 29 points.
In the next round, on March 31, Alexandria will play Minai away, and Vorskla will host Dynamo Kiev.
